Server Technician - Tier 1 (Work-Study)

The following is a Washington State Work-Study position available to students in the area of Walla Walla and/or College Place. If you do not know if you qualify for Work-Study, please speak to your Financial Aid Adviser. 

Vivio Technologies currently has an opening for a Tier 1 - Server Technician who qualifies for the Washington State Work-Study program.

Vivio Technologies is a fun, fast-growing business located in the small town of Walla Walla, Washington.

Tier 1 - Support Technicians learn to build and administrate Windows and Linux servers. Other duties include assisting customers with general hosting support, working on reports of abuse on our network, managing and correcting backup issues, as well as other hosting-related tasks. This Work-Study position requires only minimal experience, and we're happy to train the right people!

  • MUST have a willing-to-learn/enthusiastic attitude about system administration. (IE: Attitude is everything)
  • MUST have good communication skills.
  • MUST have good problem-solving skills.
  • MUST have the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  • MUST have a letter of eligibility for Washington State Work-Study.
  • Previous familiarity with Linux is a big plus.
  • 15-19 hours per week with flexible schedule
  • Compensation: current minimum wage up to $18 per hour DOQ
